Preorder Noah Kahan’s new album The Great Divide on vinyl or CD and make plans to join us at Grimey’s on Wednesday, April 29th for a special album signing with Noah! Noah will be hanging out with us and signing copies of his new album starting at 1:00 PM that day. All who preorder the album from our site here or in the record shop will receive a signing wristband with their preorder. Wristbands are required to participate in the signing for anyone 13 or older. (Kids 12 & under do not require wristbands if attending with a wristband-holding adult.) Wristbands will be available for pick up along with preorders on Wednesday, April 29th, the day of our event. Noah Kahan is back with his fourth studio album, The Great Divide. The record was produced by Gabe Simon, who also helmed Stick Season. For his new album, Kahan also recruited musician and producer Aaron Dessner (The National, Taylor Swift). The Great Divide was recorded at a secluded farm outside of Nashville, at Gold Pacific Studios in Nashville, and at Dessner’s Long Pond Studio in New York. NPR’s Ann Powers notes that “song after song in the aptly titled The Great Divide considers absence and presence, stasis and mobility by engaging with various perspectives.” She calls the album a “sprawling and musically variegated song suite, a ‘journey’.”

Due out Friday, April 24th, The Great Divide is available to preorder here on limited edition “Cigarette Smoke” colored vinyl 2LP set & CD. Preorders are limited to two total per customer. For each album preordered, you’ll receive a wristband such that two LPs preordered = two wristbands, one CD preordered = one wristband, etc. The signing limit will be one album per person. All who place preorders in advance will receive an email with preorder pickup and event details on or by the day before our event.

This is an album signing only‍ where Noah will sign his new album (vinyl or CD), with a limit of ONE total album to be signed per individual. (Please do not bring posters, photos, gear or other merch—these items will not be signed.) Wristbands are required for the signing for all 13+ and guarantee entrance to our event. (Wristbands are not required for kids 12 & under attending with a wristband-holding adult.) While photos will certainly be allowed from the sidelines and signing line, time does not allow for staged photos or selfies. Thanks for understanding.

Event preorders for store pickup will be held for three months after the event date. Please pick up your The Great Divide preorder no later than July 29th.
