What's Happening This Week
Another week, more events at the record store! This week we're proud to announce three new upcoming in-store performances. Dylan LeBlanc will join us on release day for his new album Renegade - Friday, June 7th, at 6PM. Jim Lauderdale will play the shop the day after his new album From Another World drops - Saturday, June 22nd, at 5PM. And we're stoked to welcome Chuck Mead back to Grimey's on Sunday, June 23rd, at 1PM. We're the final stop on his whirlwind week-long tour of Nashville honky tonks in celebration of his new album Close To Home, out June 21st. I'm also excited to announce that Amanda Palmer will stop in at Grimey's this Saturday, May 18th, at 2PM to meet fans and sign copies of her new record There Will Be No Intermission. She's playing The Ryman later in the evening.

This Friday we've got the much anticipated new album from The National, a new one from The Head & The Heart, plus fresh ones from Jimmie Vaughan, Olden Yolk, Interpol (a new EP), Alex Lahey, Lucette (produced by Sturgill Simpson), Com Truise, Dionne Warwick, Carly Rae Jepsen, Rammstein and more. We've got a new expanded version of Paul McCartney's latest, reissues from Endless Boogie and vinyl from Nick Lowe with Los Straitjackets, Kero Kero Bonito, David Bowie, John Zorn, Weezer, an underground Japanese psych comp and lots more, all detailed on our new releases page.
