Maisy Owen, a Nashville native, has been surrounded by music and the art of songcraft just about all her life. First came the viola at the age of 9, then guitar where she embraced fingerpicking while soaking in influences from Nick Drake, Bert Jansch, Mazzy Star and David Olney. Raised in a musical family, her father Gwil Owen is an Academy Award-nominated songwriter. Dark on a Sunny Day is her debut album.

Due out Friday, May 1st via Tompkins Square Records, Dark on a Sunny Day is available to preorder now on vinyl and CD.

Preorders placed for local, event pickup will be available at Grimey’s starting at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 2nd the day of our event with Maisy Owen.

Preorders placed for mail order will be signed by Maisy at our event on 5/2 and will ship out from Grimey’s starting on Monday, 5/4.

Event preorders for store pickup will be held for three months after the event date. Please pick up your copies of Dark on a Sunny Day no later than August 2nd.
