Alabama Shakes - I Must Be Dreaming LP (Island)

I Must Be Dreaming is the third studio by Alabama Shakes. It is the band's first studio album in more than eleven years, following Sound & Color (2015), and their first as a trio consisting of Brittany Howard, Heath Fogg, and Zac Cockrell. The Animeros - Que Barbaro CD/LP (Easy Eye Sound)

Hailing from Austin, Texas, The Animeros craft a genre-blending sound that drifts between the lush jungles of Colombia, the palm-lined streets of 1960s coastal Mexico, and the dusty cantinas of West Texas. Their distinctive style and captivating live shows have struck a chord with audiences and tastemakers alike - including producer Dan Auerbach. [Orange vinyl pressing.]

Sara Bareilles - Good Grief CD/2xLP (Epic)

Sara Bareilles returns with Good Grief, her seventh studio album and her first since 2019’s Amidst the Chaos. As the title implies, the 14-track collection is deeply informed by loss. It comes in different varieties, some belonging to Bareilles, some borrowed in service of beautiful storytelling. Sometimes the loss is more one of equilibrium or the inability to search for silver linings in storm clouds. But as the title also implies Good Grief has, even at its darkest depth, a glimmering golden lifeline that runs through the album pointing toward hope on the surface. “My deepest hope,” Sara says, “is that Good Grief just provides some kind of comfort or catharsis for somebody. It feels like it's really close to me and my hope is that people feel closer to themselves listening to this record.”

Beartooth - Pure Ecstasy CD/LP (Fearless Records)

Pure Ecstasy, the sixth Beartooth album and the first with Fearless Records, is part reinvention, part evolution. The entire album turns the creative prism on all sides, catching the band at many angles: ferocity and vulnerability, swagger and self-reckoning, the bruise and the breakthrough. This chapter is both devastating and empowering, hope and wreckage held in the same fists. Bitchin Bajas - Isle Peaks 12" (Drag City)

Sourced from Inland See sessions, the first two songs dropped on Qobuz in January 2026. "Watch your Step" adds balance, acidity and completion to the vinyl edition: three cuts, edits and tweaks, electroacoustic textures of sampled kalimba, field recordings, autoharp and EWI activating quadrants of the Bajas cinematic soniverse. Alicia Blue - Country Desire CD/LP (A Blue Lion)

Debut album from the Californian singer-songwriter. Country Desire is rooted in americana and country and shaped by fearless storytelling and a voice oft compared to Dolly or Emmylou, with a little Waylon at the edges. The album was recorded and produced by Shooter Jennings, who calls her “the voice of a generation” and “as rare as they come.”

Dylan Brady - Needle Guy 12" (Atlantic)

2026 EP from the producer known for his work with Charli XCX and FKA Twigs, and as half of 100 Gecs. [Picture disc vinyl pressing.]

Sera Cahoone - I've Missed You All These Years CD/LP (Sub Pop)

The eight years that shaped I've Missed You All These Years were marked by profound change: Sera Cahoone lost her best friend, her father, and her dog all within a short time period. But this record is emphatically not about the darkness; it's about what happens after the storm clears, the moment when you begin to come back into your body after a dark winter. The product of a lifetime spent performing and producing music, the album traverses blues, folk, pop, and country, evoking Loretta Lynn in one song and Lucinda Williams in the next. Czarface - Czarface Meets Frankie Pulitzer CD/LP/cassette (Silver Age)

Following landmark team-ups with MF DOOM and Ghostface Killah, Czarface continues its "Meets" saga with a full-scale crossover event that pushes deeper into story and sound. Frankie's presence is both lyrical and mythological, bringing a chaotic, shape-shifting energy that challenges and complements Czarface's razor-sharp precision. Dusty drums, cinematic soundscapes, and razor-edged bars bring the classic Czarface sound, yet mutated. The universe widens with appearances from Busta Rhymes, Method Man, and El-P (of Run the Jewels), each adding their own gravitational pull to the project, grounding it in hip-hop legacy while amplifying its larger-than-life scope. Dahi - Black Boy (Alternate) CD/LP/deluxe 2xLP (Alter Music)

Grammy Award-winning producer Dahi is one of the defining sonic architects of modern hip-hop and R&B, shaping landmark records for Kendrick Lamar, SZA, Travis Scott, and more. Now stepping into his own as a solo artist, Dahi expands his genre-defying vision with Black Boy (Alternative), a new body of work that blends hip-hop, alternative, and experimental music through a collaborative, deeply personal lens. Sarah Davachi - The Will of Tongues 2xCD/3xLP (Late Music)

The Will of Tongues is the new studio album by Sarah Davachi, and it is certainly her most ambitious to date, spanning over two hours. The album features five new works for historical pipe organs, three choral pieces, a suite of "interludes" for various microtonal ensembles, and a longform chamber piece for strings, organ, and tape. In addition to Davachi performing on organ, the album also features an incredible group of musicians from across the US and Europe, including Whitney Johnson (viola), Eyvind Kang (viola), Lucy Railton (cello), Diapason (an experimental brass ensemble from Los Angeles), Phaedrus (a Renaissance flute consort from Switzerland), and Chamber Choir Ireland.

Dinosaur Jr. - There Near CD/LP (Jagjaguwar)

Finally! The sixth studio album Dinosaur Jr. have recorded in the 20 years since their triumphal rebirth. Created in short, intense bursts over the course of a year at Amherst's Bisquiteen Studio, There Near was recorded almost entirely by Dino's core trio - king of the thunder tubs, Murph, human tornado Lou Barlow on bass/vocals and the inimitable J Mascis on guitar/vocals - with a bit of piano and organ work by local master musician, Ken Mauri. Riley Downing - Landfill Poetry CD (Oh Boy)

For years, singer-songwriter Riley Downing has collected stories about life's overlooked moments and underappreciated people. He's unearthed these tales of castaway truths and once-faded recollections for Landfill Poetry, a sophomore solo album and Oh Boy Records debut. A native of small-town Missouri, the husky-voiced Downing may be best known as a member of noisemaking Americana outfit The Deslondes, a New Orleans-born band that he co-founded after meeting likeminded musicians at a folk festival in Oklahoma. On Landfill Poetry, his six-string worldbuilding takes listeners to the back of the trash truck ("Landfill Poetry"), inside the lonely hours of the graveyard paycheck ("Night Shift") and to the quiet moments after a hard day of work ("Porch Song"). Elegant Weapons - Evolution LP (Exciter Records)

The sophomore album from the powerhouse metal band formed by Judas Priest guitarist Richie Faulkner, delivering the band's most dynamic work yet. Featuring Ronnie Romero, Dave Rimmer, and Christopher Williams, the album combines world-class hard rock musicianship with modern metal production. [Red vinyl pressing.]

Everlast - Embers to Ashes CD/2xLP (Martyr Inc.)

Everlast returns with Embers to Ashes, his eighth album and first in eight years; a raw, reflective collection that captures a life shaped by hard-won lessons, sudden turns, and moments of both triumph and loss. Produced by Yelawolf, mixed by Chris Lord-Alge and recorded in Nashville with contributions from songwriter David Ray (Jelly Roll, Teddy Swims), the 2026 release finds him at his most unflinching and emotionally direct. Floating Points / San Francisco Ballet Orchestra - Mere Mortals CD (Deutsche Grammophon)

Floating Points' first ballet score is a musical retelling of the ancient Greek myth of Pandora.

Sullivan Fortner - Leave That In There LP (Artwork Records)

Three-time Grammy Award-winning pianist Sullivan Fortner returns with Leave That In There, a new trio album that finds him at a peak of his creativity and artistic ambition. Following the success of Southern Nights, which earned the 2025 GRAMMY Award for Best Jazz Instrumental Album, Fortner delivers his most personal work to date. Recorded with his long-standing trio featuring bassist Tyrone Allen II and drummer Kayvon Gordon, Leave That In There draws together memories, family histories, and spiritual traditions that have shaped his artistic journey. Steve Hackett - Roaring Waves CD (Inside Out)

Renowned guitarists Steve Hackett & Steve Rothery are pleased to present their long-awaited collaborative album. Seven instrumental tracks that range from the dexterously ridiculous to the brilliantly sublime, though with one common theme: the profundity of the sea. As Rothery explains: “In winter you could hear the roaring of the of the waves during the stormy weather, Whitby was a very evocative place to live, a very poetic and powerful place to grow up. So, I suppose this record, is a way of expressing some of those memories and emotions about what the sea meant to me.”

Hakushi Hasegawa - Honest Feeling Album LP (Brainfeeder)

The highly anticipated second album from Tokyo-based composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Hakushi Hasegawa (they/them). Joe Holmes - Joe Holmes LP (Org Music)

Joe Holmes is an American hard rock and heavy metal musician, best known for his work as a touring guitarist for David Lee Roth and Ozzy Osbourne. He began playing guitar at the age of 9, and would later become a student of guitar legend Randy Rhoads. In December of 2024 Holmes released "Cross Eyed Stare", the first single from his upcoming self-titled album. The record, written by Holmes and collaborator Brent Hoffort, showcases his musical bond with Robert Trujillo (Metallica) and Mike Bordin (Faith No More) from the Ozzy Osbourne band, with vocalist Robert Locke rounding out the group.

Marci - Mask Lady and Late Night Girl LP (Arbutus)

When we last heard from Marci (aka Marta Cikojevic of Montreal soft-rock group TOPS), she was dancing the pain away on 2022's Marci. Four years later, Cikojevic returns with Mask Lady and Late Night Girl, a record of party girl anthems for when the party is over, delivered with love and compassion for the good times and great memories. Collaborating again with TOPS bandmate David Carriere, Mask Lady has elements drawn from both the Y2k-era messy pop girlies like Uffie and Kesha and Cikojevic's love of 80's power balladeers like White Snake and Def Leppard, along with the vintage synths that gave Marci a warmly futuristic aesthetic. 

Mastodon - Marrow Deep CD/2xLP (Loma Vista)

Mountain Grass Unit - Appalachian Smoke CD/LP (Dualtone)

Mountain Grass Unit stand at the intersection of bluegrass music's past and future. Lara Somogyi - A [time] patterned LP (Mercury KX)

a [time] patterned is Lara Somogyi’s most fully realized artistic statement to date: an electroacoustic harp record that maps personal transformation through rhythm, resilience and resonance. Built from loops, pedal textures and electronics, virtuosic arpeggios, stacked tape machines, ambient processing, contemporary extended harp techniques, sweeping symphonic language, and field recordings.

Son Volt - Sound Signal Serenades CD/LP (Transmit Sound)

Following its RSD 2026 vinyl release, the latest album from the alt-country band fronted by Jay Farrar is available again on vinyl and CD.

Billy Strings - So Much for Goodbyes CD/2xLP (Reprise)

The fifth studio album from 3x Grammy-winning artist, Billy Strings. Co-produced with T Bone Burnett, the album is dedicated to Strings’ late mother, who passed away in 2025. “I made this record to honor my mother. Two Runner - Porchlight CD/LP (Gar Hole Records)

Amid the excitement and ambiguity of a new start, Paige Anderson of Two Runner poses poignant questions on Porchlight, her resolute and tenderhearted new record. Beautiful string arrangements, intimate confessionals, and rollicking hymns for the lost and determined, here is an artist who's been on the road consistently since early childhood - with persistence and commitment to her craft clearly in no short supply. The Warning - Everything's Falling CD/LP (Lava)

New studio album from the hard rock/heavy metal band formed by the Villarreal Vélez from Monterrey, Mexico. Drummer and vocalist Paulina says, "Basically, the whole album is about facing failure and having to build yourself up after that. It's that emotional journey that I think all humans go through, and that internal struggle. Either you're fighting with yourself, [or] you feel like you're being pitted against other people. Alex Warren - Wildchild CD/LP (Atlantic)

Alex Warren returns with his highly anticipated sophomore album, following the success of his debut You’ll Be Alright, Kid, which featured the chart-topping hit “Ordinary." Inspired by the nickname his late father gave him growing up, Wildchild is Warren’s most vulnerable but also most joyous work to date — a raw, cinematic collection exploring grief, growth, love, and self-discovery. Saul Williams - Leap Life CD/LP (Big Dada)

Nashville-based musician and actor Alicia Witt’s 8th studio record. Produced by renowned producer and singer-songwriter Joe Henry (Emmylou Harris; Milk Carton Kids; Bonnie Raitt; Rodney Crowell), the album was recorded live in studio in 5 days in New York City in January 2026. Alicia Witt on piano and vocals, accompanied by a band of 5 musicians, takes you on a sonic journey that could never be recreated, channeling the energy that was brought together in this moment to honor the immeasurable effect that David Lynch had and still has on the world. Marco Beltrami - Scream O.S.T. LP (Varese Sarabande)

Once horror fan screenwriter Kevin Williamson teamed up with slasher maestro Wes Craven, they created what would become one of the great horror film series in 1996's Scream. This is the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack for Crime 101 by experimental electronic musician, producer and composer Blanck Mass (Benjamin Power). Thunderous synth soundscapes are paired with nuanced, character-driven themes creating a multi-faceted backdrop to the intense thriller. On creating the music, Power says: "Crime 101 was an incredible movie to have the opportunity to score. At the centre of the story is, of course, the heist. However, it very quickly became apparent to me that this was not just any heist movie, but more a Noir which happens to have a heist in it. The central characters and how their lives become intertwined was more important than the action, in a way."

Die Kreuzen - Die Kreuzen LP (Touch & Go)

Formed in 1981 by two Rockford, Illinois, and two Brookfield, Wisconsin, natives in the midpoint of Milwaukee, Die Kreuzen (pronounced dee kroyt-zen) chose their name specifically to avoid stereotyping because "no one knows what it means. 'Die Kreuzen' roughly translates out of German meaning 'to intersect' or 'to hybridize,' which is exactly what they did on their five LP's for Touch and Go. Their self titled debut is considered one of the most seminal hardcore records of the early 80's. Recorded during two September 1964 sessions at Rudy Van Gelder's studio and produced by Bob Thiele, The Voice That Is! Was Johnny Hartman's third and final album for Impulse! Records, following his acclaimed collaboration with John Coltrane. Arranged by Bob Hammer, the album features Hartman with Hank Jones (piano), Richard Davis (bass), and Osie Johnson (drums), plus an octet enhanced by English horn, flute, marimba, and Latin percussion. The repertoire spans standards including "These Foolish Things" and "It Never Entered My Mind," alongside Bill Evans' "Waltz for Debby," "Sunrise, Sunset," and Henry Mancini's "A Slow Hot Wind," showcasing Hartman's rich baritone and elegant phrasing.

Waylon Jennings - Wanted! The Outlaws LP (Sony Legacy)

Released as the Outlaw country movement hit its zenith and Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings had exploded as country stars, Wanted! The Outlaws featured a collection of songs by Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Jessi Colter and Tompall Glazer. The album hit #1 on the country charts, top 10 on the pop charts and was the first country album to be certified Platinum. Elvin Jones - Dear John C. (Verve Acoustic Sounds Series) LP (Impulse!)

Recorded at Rudy Van Gelder's studio on February 23 & 25, 1965, and released later that year on Impulse! Records, Dear John C. is drummer Elvin Jones's first album for the label as a leader. Produced by Bob Thiele, it features Charlie Mariano, Roland Hanna, Hank Jones, Richard Davis, and Jones, balancing fresh interpretations of standards with works by Charles Mingus, Duke Ellington, and Charlie Parker and Dizzy Gillespie. Bob Marley & the Wailers - Roots, Rock, Reggae: Live at the Hammersmith Odeon 2xCD/2xLP (Tuff Gong)

A stunning, previously unreleased live album from Bob Marley, recorded over several nights during the Wailers' residency at London's prestigious Hammersmith Odeon in June 1976, during their Rastaman Vibration tour. Booking the venue was an audacious move, but Bob had newfound stardom from the U.K. chart success of "No Woman, No Cry," and an ecstatic crowd packed the place. Highlights include a transcendent title song, a rarely-performed "Bend Down Low," an extended version of "Crazy Baldhead," and a 30-minute encore that incorporates a 12-minute "Get Up, Stand Up."

Sunny Murray - Hommage to Africa LP (BYG)

Recorded in Paris shortly after the historic Pan-African Festival of Algiers in 1969, Hommage To Africa stands as one of the most transcendent statements of the avant-garde jazz movement. Klaus Nomi - Klaus Nomi LP (Omnivore)

The classic debut album by German countertenor Klaus Nomi. Contains the singles "You Don't Own Me," "Total Eclispe," "Nomi Song," "Lighting Strikes," and "The Cold Song." Bavarian born Klaus Sperber emigrated to New York City in 1972, and soon became a staple in the East Village art scene, adopting the new last name of Nomi (fashioned after the popular science magazine Omni). After working on a production with Kristian Hoffman, whose band Mumps were playing Max's Kansas City and CBGB, the two began working together-with Hoffman writing originals and picking cover versions of popular songs that would showcase Nomi's multi-octave vocal range. David Bowie hired Nomi as one his background singers for a 1979 performance on Saturday Night Live, and the exposure caught the eyes and ears of Bowie's label, RCA. 

Klaus Nomi - Simple Man LP (Omnivore)

1982 album by German countertenor Klaus Nomi. Mind bending mix of art rock, new wave, and disco. Contains the singles "Simple Man," "Ding Dong," "Just One Look," and "Icurok." Nomi's second album features Kristian Hoffman's title track and covers of Doris Troy's "Just One Look" and "Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead" from The Wizard Of Oz, plus songs from renaissance composers John Dowland and Henry Purcell. It would sadly be Nomi's last album of original material before his AIDS-related death in 1983.

OK Go - Oh No CD/LP (Capitol)

OK Go's Grammy Award-winning sophomore record. Released in 2005, it features the hits "Here It Goes Again" and "Invincible."

Opeth - Pale Communion 2xLP (Atlantic)

The eleventh album from the highly acclaimed Swedish progressive metal band, fronted by guitarist and singer Mikael Åkerfeldt, Opeth's Pale Communion was released by Roadrunner Records in August 2015. The album found Opeth moving further towards a melodic, progressive rock sound, especially with the vocal melodies and further away from their earlier, death metal influences.

Jeff Parker - The New Breed CD (International Anthem)

Jeff Parker's 2016 album The New Breed was a turning point for both Parker and International Anthem, changing the trajectory of his solo career. The album is the first to give voice to Parker's wholly unique take on sample-based beat construction augmented by improvisation and live instrumentation (performed in this case by the high-level crew of Paul Bryan on bass, Josh Johnson on alto saxophone and keys, Jamire Williams and Jay Bellerose on drums, Parker's daughter Ruby on vocals, and Parker himself on guitar, synths, and other instruments). What began as Jeff's interest in understanding his own idea of hip-hop processes (and how they related to his work in jazz) expanded into a blueprint for much of his work since then.

Prince - Timeless CD/LP (Sony Legacy)

Timeless is a brand-new 10-track compilation featuring rare and unreleased studio recordings from Prince's legendary vault. This unprecedented album encompasses tracks spanning every phase of Prince's illustrious career, from 1977 to 2016. Following the release of their first album in 24 years last summer, Pulp hit the road, playing their own shows and headlining festivals the globe over. This live album consists of recordings drawn from their iconic show at The O2 in London on 13 June 2025. Sepultura - Beneath the Remains LP (Atlantic)

The third studio album from the influential Brazilian heavy metal band Sepultura, Beneath the Remains was released in April 1989. Produced by the band and Scott Burns, it was their first release for Roadrunner Records. It saw them move away from their earlier, black metal inspired sound to one that took on elements of death metal, thrash, as well as adopting influences from Black Sabbath and Corrosion of Conformity.

Ten Years After - Cricklewood Green 2xCD/2xLP (Chrysalis)

Originally released in 1970, Cricklewood Green arrived at a moment when Ten Years After were riding a wave of international success following their explosive performance at Woodstock. Led by the lightning-fast guitar work of Alvin Lee, the band had quickly evolved from a traditional blues outfit into one of the most exciting and commercially viable acts of the late '60s British rock scene. This album reflects that transition, combining their Chicago blues roots with heavier rock, boogie rhythms, and early progressive influences. Newly remastered at Air Mastering, this reissue restores the album's original power and nuance. The second disc features a performance at the Fillmore East in February 1970, newly mixed by Charlie Russell.

Velocity Girl - 1989-1992 CD/LP (Slumberland)

Getting their start as the 1980s bled into the 90s, Velocity Girl arose from a new pop underground that had been percolating in Washington, DC and its suburbs, a group of bands clustered around our then-nascent Slumberland Records who broadened DC's punk paradigm with an ear for pop songs and feedback-driven racket. Velocity Girl, blessed with multiple gifted songwriters, particularly knew how to merge euphoric pop hooks with waves of noisy bliss and lovelorn melancholy. This new compilation "1989-1992" covers the band's pre-Sub Pop years and shows that their skill with a tune was there from the beginning, across several line-up changes and numerous early releases.
