Molly Tuttle So Long Little Miss Sunshine Record Release Celebration

  • Grimey's New and Preloved Music 1060 East Trinity Lane Nashville, TN, 37216 United States (map)

We are over the moon to host one of our faves, Molly Tuttle, for an instore performance, album signing and record release celebrations! On Tuesday, August 19th at 4:00 PM, Molly will perform an intimate set in the record store and sign copies of her brand new album, So Long Little Miss Sunshine. The release, her fifth full-length, marks a shift and change of pace for Molly as it’s hybrid of pop, country, rock, and flat-picking (plus one murder ballad thrown in for good measure). Due out August 15th via Nonesuch Records, you can preorder So Long Little Miss Sunshine on our site now or next time you’re in the record shop. All who preorder the album from Grimey’s will receive a wristband for Molly’s post-performance album signing. Wristbands are required for the signing for those 13+ and also guarantee entrance to our event. Like space in the record store, wristbands are limited and only available while supplies last.

We’ve had the honor of hosting Molly at Grimey’s before. We know that she’s one of the most talented instrumentalists and songwriters out there. (And frankly, one of the nicest.) If you haven’t had the chance to see Molly Tuttle in the record store before, don’t miss this one! Preorder your copy of So Long Little Miss Sunshine on our webstore or in the shop to lock in your spot and we’ll see you here, Music City.

FYI, in addition to the musical creation of her album, Molly Tuttle also conceived the artwork for So Long Little Miss Sunshine, which features multiple Mollys, each wearing a different wig except for one with nothing on her head at all. Tuttle has been bald since she was three years old due to the autoimmune condition alopecia areata; she acts as a spokesperson for the National Alopecia Areata Foundation. When you’re at the record store, be sure to check out Alexandria Hall’s larger-than-life mural rendition of the album’s artwork, which is currently rocking the East-facing wall of Grimey’s.
