You know how much we love John Prine! In addition to his considerable gifts as a songwriter, his beautiful mug is plastered on the side of our building, his wonderful new album is one of our very best-sellers of this year and he already played an exclusive free show for 600 lucky, astute fans who preordered 'The Tree Of Forgiveness' at Grimey's. One thing we didn't get to do with that Basement East show was offer you a chance to meet the man himself. I'm very pleased to be able to do that now!

John Prine will meet fans and answer your questions at Grimey's on Monday, November 26th, at 5:30. To submit a question for John, stop by Grimey's starting today through Saturday, November 24th. We'll provide an index card for your use, you'll just need to write out your question and note your first name, last initial and your email address. John will answer questions before signing albums in the shop. Grimey's Staffer Tyler Glaser will serve as interviewer, reading the customer questions to John on stage. 

Following the Q&A, Prine will sign one item per customer. So bring your favorite John Prine record or artifact or pick one up at Grimey's. We'll have extra stock on his catalog and his book for you. Also there will be no time for photos with John but fans are welcome to take pictures (no flash) throughout the Q&A and signing.
