Paramore holed up to write over a year and a half and emerged with a collection of songs that retains their youthful spirit, but clearly shows their evolution. Paramore is the most musically adventurous set the band has released to date, which isn't to say it didn’t thrill longtime fans. But the album also earned Paramore new listeners, thanks to the trio's exploration of uncharted sonic territory, like the funky, high-stepping "Ain't It Fun," the Doo Wop-inflected "(One of Those) Crazy Girls," and the lilting, string-filled "Hate to See Your Heart Break.” Released 04/16/2013 by Fueled By Ramen, the record reached number one of the Billboard chart and the band performed the very same week at Grimey’s annual Record Store Day celebration (you can read a little description here).
