Nothing’s About to Happen to Me, Mitski’s eighth album was written and performed entirely by the artist. The records sees Mitski continuing the musical thread she began on The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We - intimate, expansive, and deeply considered.

Produced and engineered by longtime collaborator Patrick Hyland and mastered
by Bob Weston, the album features live instrumentation from The Land touring
band alongside rich ensemble arrangements conducted by Drew Erickson. Recorded at
Sunset Sound and TTG Studios, the orchestral sections bring a sense of scale and restraint that feels unmistakably Mitski.

Released 3/27/26 via Dead Oceans, Nothing’s About to Happen to Me is available here on limited edition “Tansy Yellow'“ vinyl, CD and cassette.
