Kacey Musgraves’ new album star-crossed is a bold, empowering, and personal series of songs that displays the 6x GRAMMY Award winner's continued growth as one of the finest singer-songwriters of our time. It's her follow-up to Golden Hour, which earned Musgraves her third No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and distinguished her as only the third artist ever to take home Album of the Year at the GRAMMY Awards, CMA Awards, and ACM Awards! Like Golden Hour, star-crossed finds Musgraves again working with Nashville based producers and co-writers Daniel Tashian (Silver Seas) and Ian Fitchuck. The album is described as being “structured as a modern-day tragedy in three acts, tell(ing) an extremely personal journey of heartache and healing” and there is a companion film to go along with it that was released on September 10th (via Paramount Plus). And just like the album has three parts to it, the vinyl released for star-crossed is available in three distinct Surprise colors, which were revealed to be transparent red, transparent yellow and transparent sky blue!
