Genre-bending live sensations Rainbow Kitten Surprise present their most collaborative and quintessentially Rainbow Kitten Surprise work yet on their new full length album, bones. Working once again with GRAMMY-winning producer Jay Joyce (Lainey Wilson, Orville Peck, Cage the Elephant) for the first time since 2018's HOW TO: FRIEND, LOVE, FREEFALL, the record is both an incredible return to form and distinct elevation from their previous releases. After last year's return with LOVE HATE MUSIC BOX, the North Carolina quartet's first record in 6 years, RKS continue to prove themselves as one of the industry's most exciting acts across the 10 captivating tracks of bones. According to the band, "this record is the raw unfiltered sound of Rainbow Kitten Surprise doing what we love to do. We called it bones because we were clearing skeletons out of our closet. These were both musical and interpersonal dynamics that we had to release before we could make this record what it is."

bones is officially out on 9/26 via Atlantic Records. Copies are available here to preorder for our event on limited edition yellow vinyl LP and on CD. All who preorder the album for local, store pickup will receive a wristband with their preorder for our 10/31 signing with Rainbow Kitten Surprise. Preorders are limited to total of FOUR TOTAL per customer / household. For each album preordered, you’ll receive one wristband such that two LPs preordered = two wristbands, one CD preordered = one wristband, etc. All who place preorders in advance will receive an email with preorder pickup and event details on or by the day before our event.

At the event Rainbow Kitten Surprise will sign up to two albums per wristbanded attendee. Wristbands are required for the signing for all 13+ and guarantee entrance to our event. (Wristbands are not required for kids 12 & under attending with a wristband-holding adult.)

Preorders placed for local, event pickup will be available starting at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 31st, Halloween, the day of our signing event with Rainbow Kitten Surprise. Event preorders for store pickup will be held for three months after the event date. Please pick up your copy of bones no later than January 31st.
