We hope you can join us in the record shop on Thursday, September 11th at 4:00 PM for a special album signing with John C. Reilly! We’ll be celebrating his recently released Mister Romantic album, What's Not to Love? which features songs from his new show. (He’s on the road now and will be rolling through Nashville during AmericanaFest, plus he just announced a performance at the Franklin Theater on September 9th.) All who preorder the Mister Romantic album on our site here or in person at Grimey’s will receive a wristband to participate in our album signing. Wristbands are required for all 13+ to participate (kids 12 & under don’t require a wristband when attending with a wristband holding adult). This is an in-person only, album signing event with a limited capacity so act fast! Due to the special nature of this event, preorders are limited to two (2) per person / household. Mister Romantic marks Academy®, GRAMMY®, and TONY® award nominee John C. Reilly’s most personal project to date. The show, which was created to foster empathy and love for one another, has been described by Vanity Fair as “fiercely funny,” while Theaterly hailed it as one of the best performances of 2024 following a one-night show in New York City. John is backed by a band of multi-time GRAMMY®-winners performing songs from the Great American Songbook as his character sets out on a mission to get someone (anyone!) to fall in love with him.

Mister Romantic’s What’s Not to Love? is available to preorder here on limited edition blue marbled vinyl LP and CD. All preorders will include a non-transferable wristband for John C. Reilly’s album signing that guarantees access to our event. Preorders are limited to total of TWO TOTAL per customer / household. For each album preordered, you’ll receive one wristband such that two LPs preordered = two wristbands, one CD preordered = one wristband, etc. All who place preorders in advance will receive an email with preorder pickup and event details on or by the day before our event.

This is an in-person only signing event! Reilly will sign up to two albums per wristbanded attendee. You must be in attendence in order to have your preorder signed. Wristbands are required for the signing for all 13+ and guarantee entrance to our event. (Wristbands are not required for kids 12 & under attending with a wristband-holding adult.)

Preorders placed for local, event pickup will be available on the day of our event with John C. Reilly, Thursday, September 11th. Please be on the lookout for an email detailing preorder pickup and run of event to be sent on or by Wednesday, September 10th.

*Event preorders for store pickup will be held for three months after the event date. Please pick up your copy of What’s Not to Love? no later than December 11th.
