One year ago at Newport Folk Festival, Margo Price sparked a social media firestorm when she looked out at the crowd and declared, “F*ck ICE” before hurling into her rendition of Woody Guthrie’s human rights classic “Deportee.” This moment dominated headlines and timelines for days, but for anyone who has followed Margo’s career, it wasn’t surprising. She has spent her life and music standing up for the people and causes she believes in, regardless of the consequences.

Margo Price’s Days of Unrest collects songs from throughout that journey. From prison reform and marijuana law reform to farmers’ rights, immigrant rights, and the struggles of working people around the world, these recordings reflect the issues Margo has championed both on and off the stage. Due out November 20th via Loma Vista Records, Days of Unrest is available to preorder here on apple red vinyl LP and on CD.
