We’ll be celebrating the release of his new album, Darling Blue, due out 9/26/2025 via American Records / Republic Records. The album is available to preorder here on limited edition blue colored vinyl and CD. All who preorder a copy of the album for local, event pickup will receive a wristband for every copy preordered that’s required for our signing with King and that also guarantees entrance to our event. For this, his seventh full-length album, Nashville-based artist Marcus King set his sights on Capricorn Studios—the iconic Macon, Georgia-based recording studio widely regarded as the birthplace of Southern rock. As he settled into the historic Studio A, where legends like the Allman Brothers Band and Marshall Tucker Band cut classic, genre-defining records, King soon arrived at his masterful new album, Darling Blue.

King created Darling Blue with GRAMMY®-winning producer/engineer Eddie Spear (Zach Bryan, Sierra Ferrell). The new album finds him joining forces with his longtime live band for the first time since 2018’s critically acclaimed Carolina Confessions, harnessing the explosive energy he’s brought to the stage while headlining multiple tours and opening for superstars like Chris Stapleton.

An evolution from 2024’s beloved Mood Swings, showcases even more of his eclectic musicality, infusing King’s music with elements of country-folk, psychedelic rock and Motown-era R&B. King’s songwriting delves deeper into his experience with addiction and depression, while simultaneously shining a light on his beloved home state. The result is a timeless yet truly unbridled work that continues to innovate the legacy of Southern rock, fully cementing his own bold stamp on the genre.

Darling Blue is available to preorder here on limited edition blue vinyl LP and on CD. All who preorder the album for local, store pickup will receive a wristband with their preorder for our 9/30 event with King. Preorders are limited to total of FOUR TOTAL per customer / household. For each album preordered, you’ll receive a wristband such that two LPs preordered = two wristbands, one CD preordered = one wristband, etc. All who place preorders in advance will receive an email with preorder pickup and event details on or by the day before our event.

At the event King will sign up to two albums per wristbanded attendee. Wristbands are required for the signing for all 13+ and guarantee entrance to our event. (Wristbands are not required for kids 12 & under attending with a wristband-holding adult.)

Preorders placed for local, event pickup will be available starting at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 30th, the day of our event with Marcus King. Event preorders for store pickup will be held for three months after the event date. Please pick up your copy of Darling Blue no later than December 30th.
