New Releases
Bad Bunny - Debí Tirar Más Fotos 2xLP (Bad Bunny)
Debí Tirar Más Fotos is the sixth solo studio album (seventh overall) by Puerto Rican rapper and singer Bad Bunny. A reggaeton and house record that heavily blends together diverse elements of traditional Puerto Rican music that Bad Bunny listened to when growing up, including plena, jíbaro, salsa, and bomba. [Opaque white vinyl pressing.]
Amanda Bergman - Embraced for a Second as We Die LP (Year0001)
Written by Amanda alongside Petter Winnberg, the album wrestles with the strange mix of euphoria and despair that comes from life in the modern age and traces the marks left by time, loss and love with warm instrumentation and Amanda's one of a kind voice. Recorded in just two sessions at Abba's former studio, the resulting songs are a testament to the idea that art, music, or expression itself can be a kind of faith as well as a way to find meaning after control is gone.
Joe Bonamassa - B.B. King's Blues Summit 100 2xCD/3xLP (KTBA Records)
This groundbreaking project celebrates the centennial birthday of B.B. King, honoring his monumental legacy with a one-of-a-kind collaboration album. A 32-track collection of B.B. King's most iconic songs, recorded/tracked by blues rock icon Joe Bonamassa and his all-star band, with production led by 2-time Grammy-nominated producers Joe Bonamassa and Josh Smith. The reimagined tracks include a stellar lineup of 40 guest musicians from both contemporary and legacy backgrounds that will unite multiple generations and genres to pay tribute to the King of Blues. Features Marcus King, Buddy Guy, Shemekia Copeland, Larkin Poe, Warren Haynes, Susan Tedeschi, Derek Trucks, and many more.
Jay Buchanan - Weapons of Beauty CD (Sacred Tongues Recs)
From Rival Sons' Grammy-nominated frontman Jay Buchanan comes Weapons of Beauty - a sweeping, cinematic solo debut written in the Mojave Desert and produced by Dave Cobb. Weapons of Beauty - a revelation from one of this generation's most arresting voices.
Melissa Carper & Theo Lawrence - Havin' a Talk LP (Warner)
Theo Lawrence and Melissa Carper continue their musical dialogue as collaborators on Havin' a Talk, the duo's engaging new duets album. Lawrence's first release as a Warner Records recording artist, the project pairs two talents steeped in the classics and runs the gamut from playful and rowdy to swooning and lovelorn in songs like "Dat Ain't Right" and "All Fifty States." It's a conversational, lively recording sprung from the brains of two perfectly matched singing and songwriting partners.
John Craigie - I Swam Here LP (Zabriskie Point)
New studio album from the modern day troubadour. Much of 'I Swam Here' was recorded in New Orleans in January 2025. The album finds Craigie backed by musicians handpicked by Sam Doores of The Deslondes. With Sam on piano, organ and vocals he brought along Howe Pearson on drums, Max Bien Khan on bass Jonny Campos on Pedal Steel and an appearance by Desiree Cannon on vocals on one track. Longtime friend and collaborator, Anna Moss, appears on almost every track. While Craigie served as producer you can feel the influence and the talents of the New Orleans musicians on the seven of the ten tracks that were recorded there.
Beverly Glenn-Copeland - Laughter in Summer CD/LP (Transgressive)
A deeply moving new album created alongside Glenn-Copeland's wife and collaborator, Elizabeth. Written during Glenn's journey with dementia, the record stands as both a love letter between them and a testament to resilience, memory, and devotion. Recorded at Montreal's Hotel2Tango with producer Howard Bilerman (Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Vic Chesnutt), the album captures performances in a single take, featuring contributions from a choir of Canadian and American voices including Helena Deland. Songs like "Let Us Dance: Movement Two" and "Children's Anthem" embody the spirit of collaboration, while pieces such as "Harbor" and "Middle Island Lament" draw from personal and ancestral histories. Laughter In Summer carries the same transformative power that made Keyboard Fantasies and Transmissions modern classics, offering music that uplifts, heals, and connects across generations. [Pink vinyl pressing.]
Florian Hecker - Natural Selection CD (PAN)
Unlike much of Florian Hecker's recent work, such as 2021's 'Synopsis Seriation' or 'Hecker Leckey Sound Voice Chimera', his acclaimed PAN-released collaboration with Mark Leckey, there's no single overarching narrative that binds 'Natural Selection'. Hecker describes the sprawling, nine-track album as a "constellation of pieces originating from related investigations", and the clue's in the title. Ranging from under a minute to over half an hour, these works have been grouped together because they share very specific properties, using correlated modes of synthesis and approaching timbral metamorphosis in a similar way. Pieces that might seem incongruous at first are united not by one concept, but by a cluster of queries that Hecker has been probing diligently for the last few years, ideas related to automated file selection, database-generating sequencing systems and the prospect of synthetic cognition.
Joji - Piss in the Wind CD/LP (Palace Creek)
Joji returns with the long-awaited 4th studio album. The new LP cements his place as one of the most distinctive and genre-defying artists of his generation, balancing haunting melodies with gritty yet atmospheric production. The album captures the quiet contradictions that always defined his music, wrestling inner turmoil into something strangely beautiful. Features “PIXELATED KISSES,” “Past Won’t Leave My Bed,” and more. [Indie exclusive "Prism" color vinyl pressing.]
Magnolia & Johnson Electric Co. - Wooden Heart / Twenty Cycles to the Ground 7" (Keeled Scales)
The remaining members of Magnolia Electric Co. Joined forces with Will Johnson to record their two songs from the 2009 collaborative album Molina and Johnson. Also includes the previously-released Magnolia Electric Co. #cover "The Big Beast."
Mandy, Indiana - URGH LP (Sacred Bones)
For Mandy, Indiana, the truth is the only way through. On their Sacred Bones debut URGH, the four-piece - vocalist Valentine Caulfield, guitarist and producer Scott Fair, synth player Simon Catling, and drummer Alex Macdougall - are a force of uncanny nature, grafting together a record that is as much a call to action as a parlay into oblivion and transcendence. Across the ten tracks, the band interpolate their own unconventional language into a mantra for self-determination and resilience, forging a template for a brighter future before it fades to black. Caulfield uses her voice as a distorted instrument and a weapon, oscillating between playful and eviscerating. The throbbing siren-sound of "Magazine" stands alongside the cut-up vocal fry of "try saying" and the shapeshifting ferocity of "ist halt so," which channels the urgency of protest movements, referencing resistance to the genocide in Gaza while speaking to struggles more broadly, while final track "I'll Ask Her" is a deliberate directness calling out toxic boy's club culture and a tenacious reckoning that hangs over the album at large. [Random translucent red, green, or blue vinyl pressing.]
Mayhem - Liturgy of Death CD (Century Media)
With their new opus Liturgy of Death, Mayhem reaffirm their status as the most uncompromising force in Norwegian black metal. After four decades of extremity, the band has reached a new apex of darkness: faster, fiercer, and more sinister than anything in their recent catalog. The album unfolds as a relentless meditation on death in all its manifestations - existential, spiritual, and absolute. From the furious chaos of "Despair" and "Funeral of Existence" to the bleak grandeur of "Ephemeral Eternity" and "Aeon's End", each track drags the listener deeper into a ritual of misery and transcendence.
Puscifer - Normal Isn't CD/2xLP (BMG)
The enigmatic Puscifer return with the stunning new album, Normal Isn't. The uncompromising rock band fronted by Maynard James Keenan (Tool, A Perfect Circle), have delivered a stunning record certain to please their dedicated fanbase. Features the single "Self Evident." [Indie exclusive orange vinyl pressing.]
Ratboys - Singin' to an Empty Chair cassette (New West)
Released last week on CD and vinyl, now available on cassette. Despite its title, Ratboys’ new album Singin’ to an Empty Chair is not defined by what’s missing. Rather, it’s the beginning of an important dialogue with a close loved one from whom vocalist Julia Steiner finds herself estranged. The music on the band’s sixth studio album fills the space that person left behind with 11 songs showcasing Ratboys at the peak of their powers — twangy, effervescent, as confident as they’ve ever been, and perhaps more emotionally interrogative than ever before. Reconvening with co-producer Chris Walla, the music veers from bubbly power-pop on “Anywhere” to irresistible post-country on “Penny in the Lake,” along with heart-piercing ballads like “Just Want You to Know the Truth” and an exhilarating detour into the extraterrestrial on “Light Night Mountains All That." Fittingly, as the album begins by extending a hand into the void, it concludes with a scene of serenity – all while weaving candid honesty, humor, chaos, and whimsy along the way.
Silversun Pickups - Tenterhooks CD/LP (New Machine Recordings)
Silversun Pickups meet the moment with their seventh full-length LP, Tenterhooks. It's an anxious, emotionally charged, and unapologetic collection of ten tracks appropriate for the times, yet as timeless as anything they've done. "We wanted to make a tight record that could fit on one LP with five songs on each side," says Aubert. "To me, it's an impatient, apprehensive, and more aggressive album. We started recording when the world was changing again. You invariably wonder, 'What are we headed towards?' Even if you're not necessarily writing about it." [Indie exclusive gold color vinyl pressing.]
Reissues, Comps, Live Recordings, Vault Excavations...
The Adverts - We Who Wait b/w New Boys 7" (2.13.61)
In March of 1977, the Adverts recorded We Who Wait and New Boys at Pathway Studios in London, with Larry Wallis producing. Later recordings of both tracks appeared on proper Adverts releases, but these versions have remained unissued until now. From Gaye Advert’s shelf to Infrasonic Sound in Nashville, Tennessee for mastering and cutting, to the pressing plant, to you. Play these tracks loud and often. The Adverts were one of the best bands ever.
Andwella's Dream - Love & Poetry LP (Numero)
Totally freaked Irish psychedelia for the summer of love hangover. Led by Belfast-born wunderkind David Lewis, Andwella's Dream's 1969 debut Love and Poetry shreds the line between Denmark Street and Cyprus Avenue. A 13-song pastoral fever dream lost in the CBS warehouse, now remastered and restored to its original glory. Hold onto your mind! [Cream color vinyl pressing.]
The Awakening - Hear, Sense and Feel LP (Real Gone Music)
The Awakening were the only “group” recorded by Black Jazz, for which they made two albums; those two releases happen to be among the most collectible in the label’s entire catalog. Recorded in 1972, Hear, Sense, and Feel marked the band’s debut. Being from Chicago, The Awakening’s line-up unsurprisingly boasts a heavy connection to the AACM (Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians) collective that claimed The Art Ensemble of Chicago among its most esteemed artists. Hear, Sense and Feel lands in the sweet spot somewhere between the free jazz and Afrocentric explorations of the Art Ensemble and the rhythm-heavy soul jazz sound being recorded at Chicago-based labels like Brunswick and Cadet. [Blue with black swirl vinyl pressing.]
Blur - 13 LP (Rhino)
Blur - Parklife LP (Rhino)
Remastered reissues of the British alt-rock band's 1994 and 1999 albums.
Dennis Brown - Deep Down LP (Culture Press)
Dennis Brown's Deep Down celebrates its 50th anniversary with its first-ever official reissue - a long-awaited return of one of his most treasured and elusive albums, originally released in 1976 on Niney the Observer's imprint. Remastered using analogue machines, this edition restores the warmth, grit, and vitality that define the golden age of roots reggae. While Bob Marley carried reggae's revolutionary fire, Brown brought a more romantic and spiritual touch - a sound that would help define what the world now knows as Lover's Rock. [Gold color vinyl pressing.]
Clifton Chenier - King of Louisiana Blues and Zydeco 4xCD/6xLP (Arhoolie Records)
In South Louisiana, Clifton Chenier (1925-1987) grew up hearing his father play a style of music known as La La at house dances held in Black French Creole communities. It had a percussive and syncopated sound, played in spare combinations of an accordion and a washboard used to scrub out a rhythm. After picking up accordion as a curious teenager, Chenier soon brought into this sound the rhythm and blues that dominated radios and jukeboxes, crafting a new style that would be called zydeco. In the 1950s, he recorded for Elko, Specialty, and Chess, and joined national package show tours with stars like Little Richard and Etta James. King of Louisiana Blues and Zydeco is a 4 CD/6 LP retrospective box set assembled in celebration of the 100th anniversary of Chenier's birth. The set features a chronology of Chenier's landmark work with Arhoolie and other labels, alongside a healthy dose of previously unissued gems. The 160-page book includes photos, posters, and other graphic artifacts from the Strachwitz Collection and deeply researched liner note essays by Grammy award-winning writer Adam Machado, public folklorist and radio host Nick Spitzer and longtime Louisiana journalist Herman Fusilier.
The Emotions - Untouched LP (Real Gone Music)
Girl group greatness, courtesy of the Chicago-based Hutchinson Sisters (with Theresa Davis on this record) and co-producers Isaac Hayes, David Porter and Ronnie Williams! Recording at Muscle Shoals and Stax studios seems to have added a little grit to The Emotions’ sound, too; this 1971 classic on the Volt label offers the perfect blend of sweet and sassy. “Show Me How” was the hit, but it’s “Blind Alley” that made Untouched one of the most collectible albums of its kind: that track’s one of the most sampled in all of pop and hip hop, most notably by Big Daddy Kane (“Ain’t No Half-Steppin’”) and Mariah Carey (“Dreamlover”). All-analog cut from the original two-track master. [Clearwater blue vinyl pressing.]
Roberta Flack - With Her Songs: The Atlantic Albums, 1969-1978 8xCD (Atlantic)
The first retrospective release of Flack's work since the Grammy-winning singer passed away in 2025. A celebration of her acclaimed tenure with Atlantic Records, the 8CD set presents newly remastered versions of her first eight studio albums. Arriving during Black History Month 2026, the new collection revisits a decade in which Flack, a classically trained pianist and Howard University alumna, achieved sustained mainstream success as a Black female artist.
Frehley's Comet (Ace Frehley) - Second Sighting LP (Friday Music)
"Blood Moon" color vinyl pressing of the second album from the side project of KISS's Ace Frehley, originally released in 1988.
Bennie Green - Back on the Scene LP (Blue Note)
Trombonist Bennie Green made his Blue Note debut with his delightful 1958 album, Back On The Scene, featuring saxophonist Charlie Rouse, pianist Joe Knight, bassist George Tucker and drummer Louis Hayes. From buoyant swing to Latin grooves to tender ballads the band delivers a thoroughly enjoyable program. This mono Blue Note Tone Poet Edition was produced by Joe Harley, mastered by Kevin Gray from the original analog master tapes, pressed on 180g vinyl at RTI, and packaged in a deluxe gatefold tip-on jacket.
Donny Hathaway - Live LP (Rhino)
Considered to be one of the best live albums of all time, Donny Hathaway's Live was recorded in 1971 at his shows at The Troubadour in Hollywood and The Bitter End in Manhattan. Including his beloved covers of "Jealous Guy" and "What's Going On," along with his own hits like "The Ghetto," this album solidified Hathaway as a soul legend. This album has been cut from the original analog stereo master by Matthew Lutthans at The Mastering Lab and is pressed locally on 180 gram premium-quality vinyl at Fidelity Record Pressing's plant in Oxnard, California as part of the Rhino Reserve line.
J Mascis + the Fog - More Light LP (Baked Goods)
J Mascis + the Fog - Free So Free LP (Baked Goods)
Best known as the frontman of the influential indie rock trio Dinosaur Jr., J Mascis has also been a solo artist, producer, and film composer. In 1997, Dinosaur Jr. disbanded, and in 2000 Mascis released More Light, his first recording under the moniker J Mascis + The Fog, followed by Free More So Free in 2002. Members and collaborators of the Fog have included Mike Watt (Minutemen / fIREHOSE), Ron Asheton (the Stooges), Robert Pollard (Guided By Voices), Kevin Shields (My Bloody Valentine) Dave Schools (Hard Working Americans / Widespread Panic) and Kyle Spence (Harvey Milk).
The Mice - For Almost Ever 12" (Scat)
Originally released in 1985, the debut EP by The Mice still stands as one of the finer song-oriented rock records of that era. Drawing inspiration from both mid 1960s British Invasion groups and the energy of punk, For Almost Ever is about as scorching as an essentially pop record can be. Although vocalist / guitarist Bill Fox would go on to release several much-loved mostly acoustic solo records, here he is joined by his younger brother Tommy, a veritable monster on the drum kit, bashing away with both finesse and the manic energy of a high school kid.
Miguel - All I Want is You LP (Sony Legacy)
Miguel's breakout debut album, All I Want Is You, makes its long-awaited vinyl debut, pressed on bold red opaque vinyl. Featuring R&B staples like "Sure Thing", "All I Want Is You", "Girl With A Tattoo Enter. Lewd," and more. [Opaque red vinyl pressing.]
Albert Nadeau / Brother Mudada - I Am Black / Forward Ever 7" (Analog Africa)'
Albert Nadeau was a French-Caribbean singer, organist and songwriter from Martinique, known for blending local Caribbean rhythms with funk, soul and reggae inflections. "I Am Black" is a slow-burning tropical-funk/reggae cut built around a loping groove and has become one of the most sought-after Caribbean songs in recent years. Brother Mudada is a veteran Trinidad & Tobago calypsonian who began his career in 1961. One of his most influential songs is “Forward Ever”, a calypso anthem centered on perseverance, resilience, and collective struggle. The lyrics encourage listeners to “struggle on,” using patience, wisdom, and understanding like weapons in life’s battles, and remind them to help others along the way.
Ranil y Su Conjunto Tropical - Galaxia Tropical 2xLP (Analog Africa)
Born in 1935 as Jorge Raúl Llerena Vásquez, Ranil’s story begins in the Peruvian Amazon, in a corner where the sounds of the forest mix with stray radio waves from Colombia, Brazil, and Ecuador. After winning various local singing contests as a young man, he quickly understood that breaking into Peru’s music industry — especially as an artist from “the end of the world” — would be no easy path. Following a fruitless attempt to record in Lima, Ranil decided to start his own label, Producciones Llerena, something unheard of in this part of the Peruvian Amazon. With a rotating cast of brilliant musicians by his side, Ranil crafted a sound that locals lovingly called "llullampeo" — imaginative, unpredictable, and fabulously unrestrained. His percussionists wove grooves that have not resurfaced in the region since, and the 14 songs presented here remain some of the most vivid document of that fearless, free-spirited, often psychedelic ensemble.
Otis Redding - Pain in My Heart LP (Rhino)
Pain in My Heart is Otis Redding's historic debut album. Released in 1964, the album contains Otis' first self-penned hit, "These Arms of Mine" along with his beloved covers of "Stand By Me" and "Pain in My Heart." This album has been cut from the original analog mono master by Matthew Lutthans at The Mastering Lab and is pressed locally on 180 gram premium-quality vinyl at Fidelity Record Pressing's plant in Oxnard, California as part of the Rhino Reserve line.

Otis Redding's The Soul Album vinyl features 11 tracks, split across two sides, including hits like "Cigarettes and Coffee," "Chain Gang," "634-5789," and "Good to Me," showcasing his raw soul with backing by Booker T. & the MG's and the Memphis Horns on its 1966 release. This album has been cut from the original analog mono master by Matthew Lutthans at The Mastering Lab and is pressed locally on 180 gram premium-quality vinyl at Fidelity Record Pressing's plant in Oxnard, California as part of the Rhino Reserve line.
Sam & Dave - Hold On, I'm Comin' LP (Rhino)
Celebrating 60 Years of Sam & Dave's historic debut album. Released in 1966, the album's eponymous single was the duo's first to break into the Billboard Hot 100, and the album reached number 1 on the Billboard R&B Albums charts. This album has been cut from the original analog mono master by Matthew Lutthans at The Mastering Lab and is pressed locally on 180 gram premium-quality vinyl at Fidelity Record Pressing's plant in Oxnard, California as part of the Rhino Reserve line.
Talk Talk - Spirit of Eden LP (Rhino)

Since its original release in 1988, Spirit of Eden hasgrown to become one of the most influential albums of the 80's. Featuring staple tracks such as The Rainbow and I Believe in You, thealbum is steeped in legend for its long and improvisational recording sessions that created a body of work that would go on to be vital in the creation of post-rock as a genre.
TLC - Fanmail 2xLP (Sony Legacy)
Celebrate TLC's iconic third studio album FanMail, originally released in 1999, on vinyl. Honoring the group's groundbreaking blend of hip-hop, R&B, and futuristic production, the album features hits like "No Scrubs" and "Unpretty".
Unsane - Occupational Hazard CD (Lamb Unlimited)
The 1998 fourth full-length album by legendary noise rockers Unsane is noted for its abrasive, heavy sound, combining elements of punk, metal and industrial music, highlighting the intense urban commentary typical of the band's work. "Occupational Hazard" is a high mark in pre-millennial sub-mainstream rock culture which would gain a wider audience when the track "Committed" was featured in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater Soundtrack, making it arguably the most played Unsane song in their history. Originally released through Relapse Records, the album has been remastered by long time Unsane collaborator and engineer Andrew Schneider. All formats will include the extra track "No Soul" which was originally released on Frank Kozik's infamous Man's Ruin label as a limited edition vinyl only release.
Leon Ware - Leon Ware LP (Real Gone Music)
Not many artists record two highly collectible, self-titled albums 10 years apart. But singer-songwriter-keyboardist Leon Ware pulled off that unlikely feat, first with his debut solo record for United Artists in 1972, and then with this one, released by Elektra in 1982. What he did in between was almost as noteworthy, writing and producing material for Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones, Minnie Riperton, and Marvin Gaye, for whom he helmed the classic I Want You record. So, the pump was primed for Ware’s 1982 release, which featured Ware’s soaring falsetto (which some compared to Gaye’s) over arrangements by the legendary Marty Paich, with fiery contributions by saxman Gato Barbieri and vocalist Flora Purim (duetting with Ware on the classic “Somewhere”). As is often the case with cult classics, Leon Ware didn’t sell initially, and in fact got him dropped from Elektra; but it’s emerged as a key early-‘80s R&B release, with “Why I Came to California” a particular latter-day favorite. ["Orange Crush" color vinyl pressing.]
