Ashe’s fourth solo album and first full-length since inking a deal with Atlantic Records, The Girl ofYour Dreams, reunites her with producer Noah Conrad, who co-wrote “Moral of the Story” and has worked with Chappell Roan, Role Model and BTS. The album follows 2024 release Willson, which completed a trilogy that included sophomore effort Rae and breakout debut, Ashlyn. For the new album, Ashe sheds the heaviness of Willson, an independent album produced in the aftermath of a mental breakdown that led her to temporarily leave music. In her latest chapter of creativity, Ashe finds herself leaning into the artists that make up much of her musical foundation – ABBA, The Beach Boys, The Beatles and Queen among them. “I’m having a better time than I’ve ever had making a record and releasing a record,” Ashe said. “Willson was so emotionally-charged, ‘cause I had just come out of this mental breakdown and time off. It was my first independent record. I was very precious about it. Protective about it. It was quote-unquote my healing album. This is … we’re healed. I’m healed.”
Due out October 16th, The Girl of Your Dreams is available to preorder for event pickup on limited edition pink ‘blush’ colored vinyl LP. (While supplies last preorder in the record store and on our site here.) All who preorder the album in advance will receive a wristband guaranteeing entrance to Ashe’s performance in the record store. (Kids 12 & under don’t need a wristband if attending with a wristband-holding adult.) All who preorder in advance will also receive an email the day before our event detailing preorder pickup and run of event. Preorders + wristbands will be available for pickup in the shop starting when we open on Wednesday, October 21st, the date of our event with Ashe.
