Preorder Hailey Whitters’ new full-length, Corn Queen, now on vinyl & CD and make plans to see her in the record store on Friday, June 6th. The day her new record is released, Whitters will celebrate with us at Grimey’s, with an instore performance and Corn Queen album signing! All who preorder the album from Grimey’s will receive a wristband with their preorder for Hailey’s album signing. Wristbands are required to participate in the signing for all 13+ (Kids 12 & under don’t need one.) Space is limited and wristband guarantee entrance. Hailey Whitters, the Iowa-born, Nashville-based singer/songwriter is back with Corn Queen, her new album out June 6 via Pigasus Records / Big Loud Records / Songs & Daughters, featuring collaborations with Charles Wesley Godwin, Molly Tuttle, and The Wilder Blue. Hailey recently released the single “High On A Heartbreak,” which finds her dreamily intoxicated on the melancholia of a breakup, and its visually striking official video filmed at East Nashville’s famed pink palace – the House of Adora.

For her new album Whitters recorded once again in Nashville with longtime collaborator (and now-husband) Jake Gear. The resulting record is a rousing reflection on Whitters’ midwestern roots and the joys and struggles of small-town living. The writing is whip smart, full of clever wordplay and evocative storytelling, and the performances are utterly intoxicating, walking the line between classic and contemporary country with a healthy dose of bluegrass energy. Whitters has long been recognized as a master craftswoman, but Corn Queen solidifies her status as a genuine star, one with the wisdom—and the guts—to trust her instincts as she blazes her own singular trail through the industry. 

Corn Queen is available to preorder here on limited edition pink colored vinyl and CD. Preorders for are limited to a total of four (4) albums (vinyl and/or CD) per customer / household, for a total of 4 wristbands per order submitted. However, Hailey will only sign up to two (2) albums per wristband-holding attendee. Wristbands are required to participate in the signing.*
