On Tuesday, August 12th Charley Crockett is coming to town for a celebratory East side record shop takeover! He’ll be performing and signing copies of Dollar a Day at not one but two record stores, starting right here at Grimey’s! Crockett is set to take the stage at Grimey’s at 2:00 PM for an intimate midday performance. Afterwards he’ll sign copies of his new album for attendees who participate in our preorder wristband promotion. Then Crockett will head on over to Vinyl Tap for another go of things! He’ll be performing and signing albums there starting at 6:00 PM.

You can preorder your copy of Dollar a Day on this page or come by the shop and make your preorder in person. All who preorder Dollar a Day from Grimey’s will receive a wristband per each copy preordered, such that one LP = one wristband, two CDs = two wristbands, etc. Wristbands are required for our signing for all 13+ and they also guarantee access to our event. (Kids 12 & under don’t need a wristband if attending with a wristband-holding adult.) Like space in the record store, preorders and wristbands are limited. Dollar a Day is the new album from GRAMMY® Award-nominated artist Charley Crockett. The second installment in his Sagebrush Trilogy, the album sees Crockett reunite with co-producer Shooter Jennings for 15 electrifying new tracks. Like its predecessor Lonesome Drifter, Dollar A Day was recorded at the fabled Sunset Sound Studio 3 in Hollywood. According to Crockett, "with Lonesome Drifter, it felt like we opened the portal. With Dollar a Day, we stepped through and came out the other side.”

Dollar a Day is available to preorder here on limited edition Pale Cornflower Blue colored vinyl featuring alternate album art, as well as on CD and cassette, featuring the standard album art. Preorders are limited to total of FOUR TOTAL per customer / household. For each album preordered, you’ll receive one wristband such that two LPs preordered = two wristbands, one CD preordered = one wristband, etc. All who place preorders in advance will receive an email with preorder pickup and event details the day before our event.

Crockett will sign up to two albums per wristbanded attendee. Wristbands are required for the signing for all 13+ and guarantee entrance to our event. (Wristbands are not required for kids 12 & under attending with a wristband-holding adult.)

Preorders placed for local, event pickup will be available on the day of our event with Charley Crockett on Tuesday, August 12th.

*Event preorders for store pickup will be held for three months after the event date. Please pick up your copy of Dollar a Day no later than November 12th.
