Neal Casal was a revered singer/songwriter whose ten solo albums are widely regarded as classics in the roots and Americana music canon. He was also a celebrated guitarist and consummate collaborator who could be found playing alongside artists ranging from Willie Nelson to Shooter Jennings, The Jayhawks to Phil Lesh. More than a sideman, he was a bandmate and an integral part of the Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Gospelbeach, Ryan Adams & The Cardinals, Beachwood Sparks, Hard Working Americans, The Skiffle Players and Circles Around The Sun. His tragic passing in 2019 left a hole in the hearts of fans and friends alike, leaving many looking for a few more moments from the prolific artist.

A new collection of mostly unreleased early studio recordings and demos, No One Above You (The Early Years 1991-1998), issued in tandem with a book of rare and unseen photographs, No One Above You (Christy Coleman + Neal Casal - A Love Story In Photographs), compiled by his former wife Christy Coleman, provide just that, offering an intimate look at Casal’s formative years, creatively and personally.

TIFT MERRITT
Tift Merritt is a Grammy-nominated musician who wanted to be a writer until her father taught her guitar chords and Percy Sledge songs. She has toured around the world with her sonic short stories and garnered a reputation for making her own way and setting an interesting artistic table. The New Yorker calls her "the bearer of a proud tradition of distaff country soul that reaches back to artists like Dusty Springfield and Bobbie Gentry.” Don Henley, with help from Mick Jagger, kicks off Cass County with a cover of her song Bramble Rose. Merritt’s latest album, Time and Patience, was released August 29, 2025 via One Riot Records.

SETH WALKER
Born on a commune in rural North Carolina to classically trained musician parents, Seth Walker played cello before discovering the guitar in his 20s. Introduced to the blues by his Uncle Landon Walker, a musician and disc jockey, he found inspiration in artists like T-Bone Walker, Snooks Eaglin, and B.B. King. Since then, he’s released over ten albums, broken into the Top 20 of the Americana Radio Charts, reached No. 2 on the Billboard Blues Album Chart, and earned praise from NPR, American Songwriter, No Depression, and Relix. His latest album, Why the Worry was released in April of 2025 via Royal Potato Family Records.

SHANNON MCNALLY
Shannon McNally is a Zen-like, post-Beat song poet”. For those who have followed McNally’s nearly twenty year career the thing that most sticks with the listener about her, is the timeless effortlessness that she brings to all she does. With a long catalog and longer list of peers with whom she has written, recorded and toured, McNally continues to turn out great music that defies blatant genre-fication.  At home across the American (Americana) music spectrum, the Grammy nominee who’s live music career began on the jam band circuit of the 1990’s with bands like Robert Randolph and Derek Trucks, writes as well as she interprets the songs of others, has a top tier musicality to her craft, a soul stirring voice that immediately grabs one by the heart strings and a troubadour’s wanderlust, not to mention as it turns out, she is also an excellent electric guitar player. McNally’s latest recording, Waylon Sessions, is available now via Compass Records.

THE WILDMANS
Not far from the tiny town of Floyd, Virginia, surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains, is the childhood home of The Wildmans. The sibling duo are currently navigating the release of their debut album, Longtime Friend, for New West Records. And today truly feels like a full circle moment. With a slew of tour dates appearing on the horizon, as are the endless miles along the highways and backroads of America. No matter, for this is what the siblings have yearned for since they were kids wondering just what lies beyond the mountain ridges surrounding their home.
