We’re so thrilled to announce a special in-store performance by one of our faves, Margo Price! We’ll be celebrating the release of her new album, Strays, due out next week via Loma Vista Records. Margo will be performing in the record store on Friday, January 13th—her record release day—with her full band, and then signing copies of her new album for attendees. By The Bottle, the Nashville based pop-up wine bar will be on hand to help make things merry with wine & CBD infused drinks for attendees (21+ w/ valid ID only). In just three remarkable solo albums, Margo Price has cemented herself as a force in American music and a generational talent. We have loved following along as Margo has fine-tuned her craft and we cannot wait to hear her new album (let alone see these songs performed live, right here at Grimey’s!) On her fourth full-length, Strays, Margo presents a clear-eyed mission statement delivered in blistering rock n’ roll. The album was recorded in Topanga Canyon and produced by Jonathan Wilson. IMPORTANT PARKING INFORMATION! Our parking lot is shared with other rad businesses and it is a finite space, so parking is limited. In addition to our lot, there is an inexpensive paid parking lot behind Elegy Coffee and Mickey's on Gallatin Road that is a short walk from the shop. Please use EXTREME CAUTION if parking on the nearby, narrow neighborhood streets. Too many cars make these roads impassable and result in angry neighbors, the police being called, and cars being towed. (This is no fun at all.) If possible, please consider carpooling, ride-sharing, walking, biking, scooting, roller skating, or taking the bus to attend Margo Price’s record release celebration.
