Little Big Town—composed of Karen Fairchild, Phillip Sweet, Kimberly Schlapman, and Jimi Westbrook—are one of country music’s most enduring and celebrated groups. Over a 25-year career, the GRAMMY, ACM, CMA, AMA, and Emmy Award-winning band has delivered a string of genre-defining hits including “Boondocks,” “Pontoon,” “Tornado,” “Day Drinking,” and the history-making, best-selling country single of 2015, “Girl Crush.”

Their acclaimed albums Tornado, PainKiller, The Breaker (which debuted at No. 1 and featured the GRAMMY-winning “Better Man”), Nightfall, and Mr. Sun have produced multiple No. 1 singles and earned widespread critical praise. The band recently unveiled their next chapter with their forthcoming 12th studio album It's A Dying Art, arriving August 28 via MCA. Co-produced by Little Big Town’s own Karen Fairchild and two-time GRAMMY winner Gena Johnson, the project blends intimate storytelling, emotional balladry, and a focus on human-made music shaped by imperfection and lived experience. The band first previewed the project with the poignant “Hey There Sunshine,” which debuted at the 61st Academy of Country Music Awards to widespread acclaim, with The Tennessean calling it “a hopeful, healing moment” and Billboard praising it as “a timely message from one of country music’s greatest vocal groups.” They followed with “Over and Over,” which Billboard hailed as a “top-shelf post-breakup anthem,” “Sucker For A Sad Song” featuring Ashley Monroe, which Rolling Stone declared a “song you need to know,” and the piano-driven ballad, “We Could Have It All.” The band’s most recent offering “Closing Time” is a flirtatious duet with Kelsea Ballerini, that celebrates living in the moment as last call turns into a night that's too good to end. Additional standout tracks include the relationship-worn “The Door” featuring Jason Isbell, the fiery “It’s Coming Around,” and the visceral “The Idea.” In support of the new album, they will embark on their North American headline For The Art Of It Tour, kicking off in September. Don’t miss them when they headline The Ryman Auditorium December 8th - 10th. Tickets are available to these shows via The Ryman now.

To date, Little Big Town has amassed more than 45 major award nominations and taken home over 20 wins across GRAMMYs, CMAs, ACMs, AMAs, People’s Choice Awards, and an Emmy. With the upcoming release of It’s A Dying Art, Little Big Town continues to build on a legacy as one of country music’s most respected and influential groups.

We’re stoked to celebrate It’s a Dying Art with Little Big Town and all of you!!! Lock in your preorder in the record shop or on our site here now and be here August 28th. See you soon, Music City!
