Join us in the record store on Friday, February 27th at 12:00 PM, noon, for a special listening party celebrating the release of the new Gorillaz album. The Mountain, the band’s ninth studio album, is a collection of 15 new tracks featuring a stellar list of artists and collaborators. Jamie Hewlett’s album artwork captures the four much-loved animated band members - Murdoc, Noodle, Russel and 2D – in a series of beautifully intricate, hand-drawn illustrations. The Mountain will be released on CD, standard black vinyl, limited edition yellow vinyl (available exclusively at indie record stores) and as a special “Listening Party" variant, a limited edition white label LP that is available only at shops hosting listening parties. We’ll have copies of the exclusive Listening Party variant available at our event. These will be limited to one per customer on a first-come, first served basis. In addition to playing the album in the shop, we’ll be giving away some fun party favors, including raffle tickets for our grand prize giveaway. Raffle tickets are free but they are limited to one per person. You must be present to win.
