It's hard to express how excited we are for this event. We, as wards of the record store, are unaccustomed to perishable goods, but nonetheless look forward to these baked treats in our shop every year. Somehow these cookies seem to improve upon the typical combination of sugar, flour, milk, and butter, the exotic and sought-after chocolate or coconut. Are they more precise in measuring these mystical elements? Is there a sorcery us commoners have yet to learn or achieve in our everyday baking? When their scarcity in the free market is briefly abated, it can sometimes feel like a magic trick, a dopamine rush in the brain. Then again, it could be the sugar. Come find out for yourself!
